Benedikt Goettert, photographer
Bene was born in Esslingen, Germany, and is currently based in Berlin. He is a self taught photographer influenced by the guidance of Magnum photographer Nikos Economopoulos whose On The Road workshops he regularly joins. To this day he mainly shoots in black and white.

Putting a frame about life
I try to capture visual events on my travels abroad and in my everyday life. My aim is to go beyond the description and create something rather mysterious that raises questions and connects with me both emotionally and aesthetically. As this is hard to achieve I have learned to enjoy the process of photographing as much as the results.
